Menu for Old York Cellars in Ringoes, NJ

A delightful experience from a small NJ producer. I spent an early Saturday evening here (5-7pm) and enjoyed my time... throughout. I was seated at a picnic table with a beautiful view of the vineyard. Live music can be heard from within the smallgazebo that really set the tone just right. For wine I ordered the Premium Selection flight, a glass of the Reserve Cab, and aglass of the Syrah. I found the Reserve Cab to really stand above the rest followed by the Syrah. The rest of the wine includedin the flight was just fine, with the exception of the Riesling/Brandy/Honey offering that just didn?t click with my personaltaste. For food, I ordered the Cheese Board and a Chicken Caesar Salad. Both of these were amazing with generous portionsizes. The only negative was the paying/checkout experience and the fact that a glass of wine came in a plastic cup. Throughoutmy reservation we were visited by multiple servers (all kind) asking what we would like to order from some, while others told usto use the online ordering system. The lack of continuity was a bit confusing but in time we got it squared away. Overall, Ihad a very positive experience and would love to return with a blanket to sit within the vineyard and have a nice glass ofwine. Good vineyard place, where you can book private areas with nice space for 6-8 people.Thought they don?t have much options for... food, but they have nice wines collection. They do have membership program too which looks interesting for hanging out often, wedidi go for it coz we might not go so often!We love Merlot Red wine. Read more

We had a fantastic first visit at Old York Cellars, and here is why. First, the views from this location are amazing and... perfect for enjoying a bottle of wine while listening to live music. There is a five dollar charge per person to enter and aminimum of fifteen dollars each person must spend. The staff was pleasant, however since it was our first visit there were a fewthings we should have been told more of. For example, we were told to download a Tock app to order and pay, but we didn?t knowif we had a waiter and would the waiter know where we were seated. Also, we were originally seated at a picnic table, howeverwe noticed and requested to sit in a higher up area that had Adirondack chairs which is a much better location and morecomfortable. They should have initially offered the seating option, if available, as we were first timers. The Tock link hadmy info and I believe when we were seated the staff entered our location on an iPad. When we sat I entered my credit card,using the app, and ordered wine, food and paid our entry fee (total about $75). The live music and shaded Adirondack seating,with a fantastic view was great. Our bottle of 2021 Pinot Gris arrived quickly and our food arrived about ten minutes later. Weordered the Trio of Dips and Marty's Meatball, which is a sandwich, and the food was really good! Vineyard is absolutely gorgeous. We chose to sit in a cabana and the aesthetic was perfect. There are also tables on a patio or... on the grass. I'm no wine connoisseur but I liked tasting all of them, and the sweet blueberry was my favorite and purchased abottle. Fair prices, great service, and scenery is peaceful! Read more
