What great luck finding this gem! 1st time in New Orleans and 1st food experience. Excellent food Excellent friendly service!... Nothing like being called baby to make you feel welcome. Plus the cool vibe with all the pinball machines and Kiss memorabiliaand of course my favorite was Dolly Parton pinball. The rain tried to dampen are trip but this really brightened it up. Saw this place while driving by and just had to try it. Ordered the brisket platter. Phenomenal. Got half traditional/ half... burnt ends. SO good! The cheesy grits were different than I?m used to, but I really liked them with the whole corn (and they hada touch of horseradish I believe?). Mediocre bbq. We ordered the 3 meat plate. Sausage, brisket, ribs with Mac n cheese and grits. Sides were fine. Sausage was... delicious with bits of cheese stuffed inside. The meats were odd. 1st time here... one of our Local Jeep Club (CCW) recommended this place. Me and my son totally loved it. The food was... delicious, the ladies where so nice to suggest what could I order and telling me what was their best plates. Also loved the80's to early 90's vibe, seeing their toy collections and games brought me lots of memories, just to see some toys that i had orwanted when I was a little girl got me a bit sentimental too.
