I called to place an order, the person on the phone was very rude, I place my order $23 and change. I got my food opened it up... it is burnt, all of it is burnt. Since the pandemic restaurants have been price gouging, poor service and the quality of foodis just awful. I called the place to inform them of how bad everything was and now they are closed. The service lately has been very poor and terrible. I have been a customer for years but lately I refuse to spend a dime in this... restaurant as a customer and get treated services so poorly and disrespectful. I purchased 2 large rib tips, got home and therewas no sauce on my meat but a small sprinkle on it. Then it wasn?t a full large I was shorted meat for a large. I drove back tothe restaurant to ask for sauce on my meat and the cashier wanted to be disrespectful telling me that?s how I ordered my food.Why would I want ribs with no sauce, I specifically asked for mixed sauce on one tray and the other mild sauce. She startedcursing and being very rude and tell me that I need to purchase sauce. This was their mistake and she wants to be rude and neveronce did I come at her in a rude manner. I ordered a small tip over the phone. I waited about 30 min before i left my house. When i arrived i had to wait an extra 20... min. The young lady taking orders was gone for the entire 20 min. When she came back out she gives me my order while tellingwhat i ordered. The order had the wrong sauce. She told me to pay for the mix even tho she messed up. I went off she then gaveit to me saying she dont want to go back and forth. She took the order wrong its the principle.... when i got home those ribswhere so tuff i could not chew. I always have a great experience when I come to this place and today was no exception???????? Ordered a large tip with mixed... sauce Turkey tip/ link combo with mixed sauce and the catfish steaks. I placed myorder online about 11:30 I chose the 12:30 pickup time. I arrived at the restaurant about 5 minutes prior to pickup time so I didn?t mind the few minutes I had to wait. Thecashier was friendly which sometimes is not the case so I appreciated that I got home opened the food and per usual it was spoton!! Tips were tender and a generous portion as well. The fish was the biggest delight it was still crispy when I arrived homewhich is about a 15 minute drive. The order came with 4pcs. Which one was a small piece of the tail so I wasn?t happy aboutthat, but not a biggie. Now these hush puppies they sell I?m not sure if there made in house or frozen but they are Gooooooodsome of the best I?ve had so if your in the area or just looking for a great bite don?t hesitate bc u won?t be disappointed Ido highly recommend online ordering to avoid long wait times.
