My parents loved the fish and chips. They had a light batter with lots of good pieces of fish. I was shocked to see such a big... gluten free menu. Gluten free burgers, gluten free sandwiches and gluten free fish batter are among some of many options. Iwill be making special trip to Riverside Albert just to go to this restaurant! Read more
Mom and I just had a delicious meal here. She had fish and chips and I had gluten free fish and chips. Homemade coleslaw and... tartar sauce. Delicious and filling. Had to bring dessert home. I grew up in Riverside Albert and used to frequent the red roof a lot. I was egar to return when I was in the neighborhood for... the exhibition, I ordered take-out and was told to "go wait outside so I wouldn't filthy up their seating." I've never, in anyrestaurant, been made to feel THAT level of unwelcome and unwanted. This place has a big "For Sale" sign out front; MY advice tothe new owners: Replace the ignorant front counter staff if you ever expect anybody to eat there more than once. If you're onthe 114, skip this sad excuse and keep driving to Alma, if you don't want to be treated like dirt. Read more
