Our wedding venue (Reid Castle) included a cake from DiMare as part of the venue. The cake we got, lemon blueberry with... chantilly cream, both tasted outstanding and looked stunning. Seriously, our guests LOVED this cake. We had a blast with my momat the tasting where we got to try 15 different types of cake (making the decision really hard, haha). Given the cake wasincluded from the venue we were nervous they would try to upcharge for most designs/ flavors, but that was not the case AT ALLand they were incredibly flexible / transparent about what was included. With big regrets I have to write this review. I have purchased several of the same cakes in the past for special occasions.... Always amazing. They made a cake for my sons college graduation that tasted like a Shoprite cake. Lobster cream tasted likewhip cream, and my butter cream icing was whip cream, and they didn?t use the color sprinkles that I wanted. Different pastrychef perhaps but not worth $52 I would not pay $20 for what I received. I was so embarrassed that I served this to my guests. Read more
