I love tea and small/quaint eateries. This hit all those things. My wife took me here for my birthday celebration over the... weekend. It was very nice. The tea came in tea pots like at a tea party. There were tea sandwiches and small dessert to goalong with it. The selection of tea was also very nice; I've noticed quite a few I have before. The gift shop we walked throughwas also nice. It reminded me of a Cracker Barrel where the entrance leads you through the gift shop. After our tea on the wayout we stopped at the gift shop and purchased our very first outfit for our daughter that will be here in March. The cashieralso our waitress was kind too. She did ask me if I was the father though, my wife believed it innocent and rather not assumingof her. I like that all staff walking and waiting were apart of the experience and willing to assist. I reserved a table for 9 for a birthday party for my sister. When I called to place my reservation I was told I was not allowed... to bring gifts into the restaurant because there will be no room or time for gift giving. I was taken back by this never have Iever been told this by any other restaurant when planning parties. We got to the tea house only to find they set us up with atable for 5 and another small table in the corner for 4. I could not understand why they could not put the tables together fora party of 9. There was plenty of room the restaurant was just us and 3 other people. Made no sense whatsoever. The cost ofthe meal was $6 more then what was posted on the website which was what I was basing the cost of the party on. The sandwicheswere made from what would appear a loaf of store bought Walmart brand bread dry and tasteless. You could hardly tell what youwere eating because the food between the stale bread was so thinly spread you couldn?t see nor taste what it actually was. For$38 a person I think they could have at least put a tablespoon of ingredients in the sandwiches. The room was hot the plates onthe tables were sticky. Tea was ok but honestly I tasted better. The staff all looked like they were being held as prisoners. They did not make you feel welcome to be there, it was more like here?s your food now eat and leave. Never again will I goback. Read more

It's cute, but the owner doesn't really treat the customers very nicely. One time I asked for a glass of ice and you would have... thought I asked for her credit card number. Dana doesn't seem to like people much, which I totally get because people can beterrible. But if you're serving the public and taking their money, maybe try better to not treat them like they assaulted yourmother. One other time, a side staple on the menu was "forgotten" and when I asked where it was, I was told it was my fault thatit wasn't brought out. Little things like this are why businesses shut down. It would be a better spot if you didn't feel likeyou were crashing someone's private wedding when sitting in there and actually paying to be mistreated. Such a shame. I hopethis review will get to the owner so that maybe she'll consider being a bit more pleasant to her customers because it could be agreat spot. Read more

Adorable tea place! The interior is perfectly decorated and transports you to a mid century English tea house. The tea is... absolutely wonderful and the food served alongside it is also very good, particularly the scones which are fresh baked anddelicious. A great experience overall! Highly recommend this place for a nice morning out! Read more
