We got there and wasn't sure if it was even open. We had the place to ourselves. Very beautiful scenery. I took some awesome... time-lapse of rain coming over the mountains. My boyfriend ordered the trout and I the pheasant. Both were delicious. I havenever seen pheasant in a restaurant before so that was different for me. This is an absolute must go when you are in the area the drive will set you in the mood and once you get there and experience... the view and the flavors of the food nothing can stop you from coming back. The Black Angus steak was seasoned and cooked toperfection. I'm not talking about a premix seasoning you can taste fresh herbs and vegetables that are not over or under cooked.The salad that comes with the meal was phenomenal nothing beats a good fresh crisp mix lettuce bowl with cherry tomatoescucumbers red onions and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese. Tucked away near Seneca caverns, this unassuming restaurant doesn't have the look or feel of a nice restaurant. Greeted by an... ice cream case and plastic tables, I wasn't expecting much, but with limited options in the area, figured why not. I had thesteak with wild rice and Brussels sprouts. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection, the Brussels sprouts crispy andflavorful, and the rice creamy and delicious. My husband had the pheasant, and my son had the pan seared chicken.
