The steaks are great. The service is usually pretty good. They are not as busy as some of the other steakhouses and they are... beside the theater so I go about once per month. My only complaint is they ration the ketchup and steak sauces out for yourather than bringing a bottle to the table. If I'm paying 20 dollars for a steak, I want to pour my own A1. Read more
From the moment we stepped in we were greeted by a grumpy waitress that looked annoyed we came in. I needed to use the restroom... and I found a waitress admiring herself on the mirror. After I was done using the bathroom she raised me for the soap ???? andthen rushed out. Well along and behold who happened to be our waitress? The same model I find in the bathroom. My husbandordered a steak med-well with rice and Caesar salad. The steak was more raw, the nice thing was that the waitress suggested hecut into it and check and it was raw? she was willing to bring it back n get it to the right point. I really appreciated that. She was very nice and pleasant, totally redeemed herself. But she couldn?t redeem the food. That was just awful. The meat wasflavorless. I ordered the onion rings and it was the worst thing ever. It was my first and, believe me, last time there. 2 stars, be happy with that. Where to start? I was OK with the service. The... service and rolls were the ONLY reasons I gave it 2 stars. The server we had was very polite and courteous and did his best tomake sure we were waited on, but he was spread so thin that he couldn't help every table he had. Now for the food???????????????? I ordered a New York Strip and I'm pretty sure it was something lab created. I have had a lot of steaks atdifferent restaurants and this was by far the worst. The texture was like soft tinder, tender something. I know for damn sure itwasn't a cow that came from. I am sad to have to change my review of this restaurant. I have been coming here monthly for over 3 years with a bunch of... friends, and its been amazing. After our dedicated server Ro left, service has been severely lacking. Tonight was the thirdtime in a row that our service has taken over 2 hours to order and eat a meal, and an extra half hour to get our bills. We werewilling to give it another try figuring the first two times were a fluke, but after 3 times in a row of similar service, it isapparent that this is their new normal. Half of our group mentioned incorrect or cold food, but ate it anyway because theydidn't want to wait any longer. Our server tonight took it upon herself to remove the charges for our appetizers off of our billbecause she felt bad about how long things were taking. We appreciated that gesture. I understand restaurants are stillstruggling with lack of inventory, and staffing shortages. This is why we kept coming back in hopes things would improve, butthey are not. After waiting over 20 minutes for a table I was sincerely hoping that the food would make the wait worth it. I was very wrong.... We ordered and patiently waited quite some time for our food, which we assumed would be piping hot and fresh. The sweet tea waswarmer than the food. All of the food was lukewarm at best. It was almost as though the kitchen had pulled it all out of therefrigerator, stuck in the microwave for a minute, dropped it on plates and served it. The cheese on both the grilled cheese andmacaroni and cheese were congealed with a strange aftertaste. The disgusting cheese was gourmet level compared to the greenbeans that tasted like they?d been dumped out of the dollar tree clearance can two months past their expiration date and I don?tthink they even bothered to microwave those. The flavor of both paled in comparison to the cole slaw that I?m certain was madefrom nothing more that cabbage that was cut a month ago and a healthy helping of apple cider vinegar. My husbands porterhousesteak was more like a thin slab of chuck roast. Our waitress was inattentive and barely audible over the typical Saturday dinnerconversations of other diners. While attempting to choke down the highly unsatisfactory meals we had the privilege of hearinganother waitress repeatedly yell across the dining room to attempt to gain the attention of another employee and then when shefinally gained her attention, she was kind enough to repeatedly yell ?Never mind?.
