Still love The Gumboot, and am very grateful their brilliant management could figure out a way to pivot and keep the doors open... - despite the most challenging times for restaurants, ever. Food remains fabulous, and locally sourced. Service is alwaysfriendly and efficient. Best wine list anywhere. 55 min wait to receive a plate of breakfast and the salmon burger! I cannot remember the last time we had to wait so long for a... meal, much less when it's a take out spot which wasn't even that busy? Food was ok but for takeout eating with plastic cutlery,the price is too high (23.50) Read more

Stopped here for lunch at a friend's recommendation and it did not disappoint! The BELTCH was maybe the best breakfast sandwich... I've ever had, and everyone else I was with (including a couple of six year olds) loved their food too. Really enjoyed the bigpatio and picnic area for eating. The store also sells a good variety of products crafted in the region. Will definitely be backthe next time I'm on the Sunshine Coast. Read more

What a wonderful space. I love the idea of picnic style seating! You make your order inside and get a number for your selected... table outside. The awesome thing is you can bring your dog or a blanket and hang out with your child, all while your food isbeing made. The food is also very tasty. Read more

Cute little spot to grab something to eat, drink, and shop. Loved that there was a large patio space with ample shade and a... grass area for our dog. We ordered the Bootine (gnocchi poutine, yum!) and Gumboot Poutine (meh). Our only complaint was it wasa little pricey for what we had. Read more

One of our favourite places to eat on the Sunshine Coast. Portions are big and everything is delicious. By far, the Gumboot has... the better burgers and tacos than anyone else and their cocktails are deadly! Came here twice on our trip to/from the Sechelt area. Lots of options for vegans and omnis. Great portions. The large is perfect... for leftovers the next day and small is great for one meal. Right now they are operating as take out / eat outside. You orderinside and they bring it out to you. We sat on the deck which was covered and had heating lamps. There is also lots of seatingat tables in the grassy area but those are best left for nicer and non-rainy days. First meal I had was the large coconutpeanut noodle bowl with veggies and tofu (vegan). The second time I went I ordered the small Buddha bowl (vegan), not picturedoops. Both bowls had lots of fillings and sauce and were tasty. Order your sauce on the side if you don?t like tonnes ofsauce. Inside the restaurant is great too because it?s set up like a store where you can buy wine, beer, frozen food they make,and other goodies and tasteful/locally made souvenirs. Highly recommend!
