I wish I could give this place no stars. I asked for grits with cheese on it, why they brought my grits out with the cheese mix... in the grits, cold and dry looking. When I tell you my grits were stiff. I asked for Haddock she opens up my to go box and waslike here's your catfish. Ma'am I didn't order catfish. The fish was so small. I could have gone to Mitch's on main st wherethey have to tear a hole in the box just for the fish to fit. My sister order was jacked up. The person who took our order wasditzy she kept coming out with the wrong stuff, forgetting stuff. Put my orange juice in a coffee cup.This was my first timegoing to this establishment and I thought to myself let me have breakfast at a African American restaurant you no support ourpeople. Then you wonder why we don't support black businesses and go else where to get better service and better quality offood. Won't be returning. It's a 1 and done for me. Read more
Let me start off first by saying Customer Service was amazing ???????? The young king who took my order over the phone is right... where he needs to be. He's very professional. Now let's talk about the timing. My order was ready once I got there and she madesure to put all sauces in bag without me having to mention anything. THESE WAFFLES ???? ???? ...Yes indeed! Very scrumptiousand so Fluffy. All in all...my first experience here was amazing. The fact that it's black owned is even better. We need tostart supporting one another. Kudos to the entire staff. Best experience ever!!! The food was soo great, and the staff was so kind. I cannot wait until I can go back again. We ordered... the chicken and waffles and they were amazing! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the waffles were some of the best I'veever had We also ordered a side of shrimp which was a little pricy and we probably wont get it again but it was still reallyyummy! If you ever get a change you should really check out this place! I will definitely be returning soon. Read more
