Service was well below par, but food & atmosphere very good!!
So disappointed with the food. The four of us were so excited because the restaurant came with a great recommendation. The... appetizers were extremely salty. The bread comes with out butter or even dipping oil. Butter was requested but denied. Facilities need some maintenance especially the men’s room. Our drinks were good and service okay. Really tried to overlooksome things but our group kept thinking about all the great restaurants we could of visited on our stop in Rochester. Read more
My 8-yo son wound up vomiting through the night because of something in his pizza margherita. Everyone else was fine. He... didn't eat much, I suspect he didn't like it because something was off, but it's hard to get a little kid to explain that. Therest of the food was enjoyable. The risotto portions are absurdly large. It could have been a starting course for the 7 of us.Staff was pleasant. **edit in response to owner** What you say is plausible however he was fine and eating well before arrival,and the next day after he got whatever it was out of his system. The lack of any other symptoms and the fast recovery afterevacuation indicates to me that it was the food. We had never been to this location and am very glad we did. Our server was Roberto and he was perfectly attentive, and was... obviously appreciative of our business. I had the Garganelli Pasta with Sausage, Rapini in Garlic and Oil... a dish right up myalley. My dinner companion had the Pollo Siciliano and said he would visit again tomorrow and order the very same dish - it wasthat good. We'll be sure to stop in again. Read more
