This place is AMAZING! So tasty that you wouldn?t even care it is vegetarian! The three cup duck & the spicy tofu pot is just... so good - the tofu is really soft, and it?s so savory that you can easily finish the rice with it! Definitely one of the bestrestaurant in the area! Read more

Absolutely delicious food, phenomenal service!!! We dined in and ordered the Crispy Black Mushroom appetizer and the Lemon... Chicken and the Peking Duck entrees, and they were all amazing - the black mushroom was to die for, the lemon chicken was uniqueand VERY tasty, and the peking duck was fantastic, especially with the pancake-wraps and sauce. Service was amazing as well, very attentive and very fast. I just wish I'd heard of this restaurant earlier - can't wait to come back and try more dishes!!:) Read more

One of the best places in the DMV area to have a great vegan meal. I would rate this and loving but in falls church as the top... two for vegans in this area. I have been there multiple times and tried their pineapple rice, Peking vegan duck, hot and soursoup among other things and have always been impressed with the quality of food! I always get the green tea and enjoy it aswell. The place is located somewhere right across Marlos furniture along with a small set of establishments with good parking. The inside seating is pretty good - with the ambience tad dark inside ( more lighting inside would be good). Service is quickand efficient! Read more

As a life time vegetarian, Yuan Fu was the worst tasting, the most expensive, and the worst service vegan Chinese restaurant... I?ve ever been to. I ordered beef dish and a sponge came out and I ordered Lo Mein and linguine came out. A total waste ofmoney!! Read more

I mean, come on, it?s an all vegan Chinese restaurant! I took it for granted when I worked 1/4 mile away for 15 years. I did eat... there regularly, but now I?m an hour away and miss it! No more buffet because of covid. I was in the area so of course wedropped in! Kung pao tofu, pan fried dumplings and chicken with lotus root ???????? Read more

Highly recommend their veggie duck hot pot. Been going there since they opened in the 1990s. Perfect for my life partner, Laurie... who eats a plant based whole foods diet. Thr ownet, Mary, is an amazing person. Read more

July 2021 Came here for the lunch special and a few more entrees. We were very curious about this Chinese vegetarian place, and... it's pretty good. I believe they use tofu and soy-based meat substitutes. The texture of the "meats" aren't always meat-like,but the flavors are the same as any other Chinese place. For the lunch specials, we got the Moo Goo Gai Pan with Wonton soupand the Crispy Orange Chicken with Broccoli and Hot & Sour Soup. Both the Moo Goo Gai Pan and Orange Chicken tasted good, thoughthe flavor of the orange chicken was a little light. Unlike the typical Chinese restaurant, the orange chicken is deep friedseparately with the orange sauce poured on afterwards. Usually the chicken is pan fried with the orange sauce. The Hot & SourSoup was good, but very VERY spicy. The Wonton Soup was rather disappointing, with practically no filling. We also got theYellow Bird and Singapore Rice Noodles. My mom has been looking for someplace that does a good Yellow Bird, and she very muchapproves of the Yellow Bird here. The Singapore Rice Noodles were a little bit spicier than I'm used to, but otherwise verygood. The service was fast and friendly. The portion sizes were decent for the price. Note the inside was pretty small, maybe10 tables total. Overall, would come again. Read more
