Best dining experience in downtown! Wow! I hardly want to share this secret gem! We had steak with puréed eggplant with quinoa... - exquisite! And the pork chop with butternut squash and Brussels sprouts. Also a great wine flight of four choices. Melissatook great care of us. Dining outside cafe-style on a balmy evening with smoked mesquite on the breeze, we were transported toour own delightful paradise. Read more

One of Rockwall's best restaurants. I don't think it's possible to order something off their menu and have a bad experience. The... dishes are so well thought out and flavors are so balanced. Great selection of wine and beer. The staff is always friendly andattentive. Atmosphere is rustic, quaint, and dreamy. It's the perfect place for a small gathering, date night, girls night, anyoccasion really! Read more

Went for lunch with a friend. We are not wine people but we were excited to try a new fun sandwich spot! First off, the place... is very cozy and inviting. The outside looks much smaller than it is on the inside. Although we opted to eat inside, the outsidepatio looks absolutely adorable as well. Inside does have a cheese smell, which some may not like but I actually thoroughlyenjoyed. Our waitress was friendly enough, not overly friendly, not rude. It was a nice experience. The food averaged out tobe good. Hummus was GREAT. I would highly recommend. Pita bread was warm and soft, hummus was full of flavor. We ordered a Cubanand and Turkey Melt. Now, if you are looking for an authentic Cuban, this is not it... Although a tasty sandwich! The "turkeymelt" probably has to be the worst excuse for a turkey melt I've ever attempted to eat. When I think Turkey Melt, I think hotgooey cheesy goodness on a turkey sandwich. It was neither warm or cheesy. They use some sort of cheese type spread whichreminded me of cream cheese, and some type of jam (I don't remember what is was called, you can refer to the menu), and theturkey was just average deli sliced turkey. I feel like if they just changed the name on the menu it would clear up someconfusion. The combination of the jam and the cheese spread almost gave the turkey a fishy like flavor... my friend and I bothtried to eat it and just couldn't. The side salad was oily and lacking flavor, but the chips were great! I believe they are madein house... Overall experience was good. I really can't get over that turkey melt. If you decide to try this spot, I wouldchoose your food wisely. Menu items seem to be a little hit or miss. Food is a little pricey, but I don't mind the pricier itemswhen they taste amazing and I love supporting local business. Read more

We reserved the front room for our church?s monthly Bible Study called ?Bible on Tap? with about 25 people attending. The room... was set up so nice and we had attentive service the whole time. Their food selection is creative and well executed, again Itried the chicken liver as I am a fan of liver and was not disappointed, so good! Great wine and beer selection, with greatpricing too! Great place for a big party or for date night or for some quality alone time with a glass of wine on the outdoorpatio. Read more

This was a great place for meeting friends and hanging out. Great food and beverage choice. The craft of mimosas was awesome!... They had a good atmosphere and service! The only issue we had is that it took a little longer than we anticipated for ourcharcuterie board and my hubs and I shared the El Jeffe Cubano.. we didn't ask to split... they split it for us which was nicebut charged us 2$ extra just to split it. For almost a 100$ tab we could have done it ourselves. Seems a little unnecessary tocharge extra for something we could have done. Overall a great place. Read more
