This place is near my sister's home and I stopped in for lunch one day. I very much enjoyed my meal of fried chicken, mixed... greens, pinto beans and cornbread. This is not a pricey place but the food was great, well-prepared and wholesome. Therestaurant has a homey atmosphere and is run by a local couple. They have outdoor seating available. Read more
My husband and I were driving through enjoying the scenery we looked up places to eat and this place popped up. we decided to... give it a try. I ordered the Catfish and he ordered the fried chicken we were Not disappointed. The tea was good too. I LOVE everything about this place. The outside and the inside are just as warm and inviting as the food. It was our first time... here, my husband frequently drives by this establishment and really want3d to try it so we went. Best. Dinner. In Forever. Wewill definitely be coming back, my husband got a pulled pork BBQ sandwich with fries, slaw, and Mac and cheese with the bestsweet tea I've tasted around here. And for myself, I have never had catfish before. So I got the fried catfish and it wasn'tjust one filet but two! I also got the mixed greens, slaw, and some of that heavenly cornbread.
