If I could give no stars I would. To my understanding as a former worker in the restaurant business (within the same restaurant... business), a gratuity charge is only enforced when there are 4 adults in a table. We we're charged $23 extra for gratuity eventhough there was only 3 adults and 1 small child. The waitress said that if my son wouldn't have ordered food that she would ofnot charged the gratuity charge. Keep in mind that my husband did not eat his taco dinner because the meat tasted disgusting. Hesaid that he would not feed a hungry dog with those tacos. I thought he was playing until I tried a small price of meat. He wasright. My mom did not like the platillo de camarones a la cucaracha. She said that it tasted like the cheff just threw someValentina on the shrimp and called it a day. I would expect better food and better service because the restaurant was emptyaround 12 pm. When we asked the waitress to speak to someone else to explain to us the extra charge the "manager" came over andstarted arguing with my husband. Her explanation did not make sense what so ever. She started talking about "bringing a lawyer"and "it says on the menu". We asked her if there was anyone else that we could speak to that was more understanding andreasonable that's when she started saying that she was the owner. My family still had contact with the actual owner, so we willnotify him of this incident. Horrible place, and will not be coming again. Do not recommend. Read more
