This place is a good road side restaurant. Decent appearance, clean inside, good food, adequate portions, cooked well. The staff... was friendly and attentive. I had the hot hamburger and it was done well. It came out hot as well as the corn and mashedpotatoes. There's no reason for this place to be empty during any time of the day. Blacked steak was just a thin cut lightly seasoned but very fatty ribeye that was $35!! The French onion soup was just watered... down beef broth with some large onions in it and the salad bar was a joke it was all wilted and brown with barely any coveringthe bottom of the bowl. The waitress was very nice and did the best job she could being the only one their. Don't serve alcoholeither. I'll be telling everyone on our job to stay away. Read more
Definitely exceeded my expectations! I've driven by this place 100 times wanting to give it a try, I finally had the chance on... Saturday night and happy we did. The place is clean and welcoming. the service was amazing, fast and friendly. The food wasextraordinary! My garlic butter steak was cooked perfectly and tender enough to cut with a fork. My husband got a burger and wasimpressed with the hand made patty and flavor. The drifter fries are must! It's a mix between a curly fry and steak fry. Ididn't know what they were or I would have got them with my steak and I don't even like fries. Everything was perfect, and atthe end we were able to meet the owners who are really nice people and definitely here for the right reasons. They were honestlyinterested in how we felt about our meal. I don't really think they're in it for the money but for the passion of cooking and Iappreciate that. The menu has just the right amount of options and they serve breakfast all day.
