We got the brisket meat plate with French fries and sweet potatoes. The brisket was well flavored with a nice mellow smoke. The... fries, simply cut and fried potatoes, were done perfectly with a nice crisp. The sweet potatoes were also finished with acinnamon butter. Staff was courteous and prompt. Been searching for a good BBQ place since Big Daddy's closed down and the original owner sold it. This place is pretty darn... close. Only thing they don't have are beef ribs. Love their rip tips and collard greens. Read more
Good, simple barbecue. Both pulled pork and brisket were cooked nicely... tender, flavorful. Only one barbecue sauce option...... very much vinegar based... which was good for me, but not my wife. Sweet potatoes were great. Collard greens were simple andfreshly cooked. Portions are sizable... making it a good value. Would be happy to have less costly smaller portions. Read more
