Service was great. A lot of the meats are made to order. I went for lunch and ordered the smothered Pork chops with white rice,... cabbage and mac and cheese. I really like the pork chops and cabbage. The rice was hard and I didn't really care for the Mac andcheese. I went back for dinner and ordered the pork chops again with just rice and cabbage. The rice was cooked perfectly and Istill had no complaints about the cabbage and pork chops. I also ordered the BBQ jerk ribs with collard greens and yams for myhusband and he enjoyed them. The meals also come with cornmuffins but with both of my visits they were hard and small for thelarge portions of food given. Read more
My fiance is picky when it comes to soul food and we both loved it! The price was just right for the food/quality we received.... Fried shrimp has a lot of crispy batter. Salisbury steak was tasty. Fried okra was crispy and hot. Mac n cheese is on point withthe flavor of butter so tasty. Cornbread is just the way we prefer it (it is not Jiffy box by any means) and the seasoning wasgood. Meal combo was filling but didnt leave you feeling weighed down. We will be back. Putting this in our regular rotation(and we are somewhat picky about our faves). Thank you for serving Roswell! Babyyyyyy, 10/10!! I ordered the fried porkchops with mac n cheese and collard greens and everything was on point you hear me?... Customer service was A1, the cashier was so nicee and full of vibes ???????? They?re short staffed so I waited about 30 minutes(I appreciate the fact she lets you know ahead of time) but I honestly didn?t mind, every customer in there didn?t seem to mindeither. I?ve been to hundreds of restaurants & I must admit I don?t leave nearly as much reviews, however without a shadow of doubt this... restaurant merits this review as I stopped by for the first time yesterday with my colleague to grab an early dinner. When youwalk in your greeted with an immaculate environment, super clean with a heavenly aroma. Then there?s the mouth watering menuwhich has many options tailor made for everyone?s taste buds, there?s menu items that are made to order which means there?s await but believe me it?s worth every ounce of patience in you, there?s also menu items that takes less time to prep which is thedirection my colleague chose & he?s already planning the next visit, enough said (I know this will help someone). I ordered thesalmon with a side of mac, collard greens & green beans. Everything was cooked & seasoned to perfection, full of flavor! I can say that this experience was a pleasant one. Being a restaurant owner I can tell that the food here was made with love and... looks consistent comparing it with the photos in the reviews. Okay now the food. My wife ordered the Salisbury steak with greenbeans and Mac n cheese and mashed potato?s. I ordered the fried chicken dark with collard greens and Mac n cheese. WIFE??S FOODREVIEW: The Salisbury steak with was THICK and delicious. The gravy was a compliment to the steak. Mind you, you get 2 of them.The mashed potatoes was very delicious and there was pieces of potato mixed in meaning it was REAL potatoes NOT BOXED!! and thegreen beans was slamming, seasoned just right. MY REVIEW: The fried chicken (Dark) Leg and a thigh was very good. The breadingwas perfect and was not salty at all. Much better than other?s I?ve had. The Mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy. I loved itbecause I can eat it with just a fork and not cut it like a cake and eat it like a steak.. the collards was tasty as well.Personally, I would?ve cooked them a little longer to make them more tender but hey.. to each its own.
