Great decision to eat here tonight! Helen, our server, did a fabulous description of the dishes we ordered: the Ruby Red Trout... Salad and Crab Chicken. Both were amazing! Fresh flavors, layered textures, surprising combinations that were justdelicious. And the Cajun Pickles were really really good to start our meal! Read more

Southern inspired restaurant local to Austin, Tx. They pride themselves in using local ingredients. You can really taste the... freshness of their ingredients. To start your meal you will get a complimentary taste of their pimento cheese. They have anice selection of drinks, beer and wine. I had the Cobb Salad but substituted for the southern fried chicken. They add theirhome made corn nuts and it really adds the perfect touch of crunchy to the salad. The portion was perfect size and delicious.The service was great, the food came out quickly. First let me start with I HARDLY ever give 5 stars to anyone . But this Restaurant truly is amazing. Beautiful entrance. Very... welcoming staff. Our waiter ?Dylan? was simply amazing! He greeted us with such great vibes. Explained the whole background ofthe Restaurant and the foods used from Texas Farms! He recommended different dishes from salads to fish tacos! Freshly squeezedlemonade was amazing ! The dessert was a strawberry and blueberry cobbler with Mexican brown sugar and cinnamon icecream!!! That is definitely a good choice ! When we first got there they gave us a hard time about wanting to eat in the outside portion of the restaurant. The inside was... very loud and one of our guests was hearing impaired so we wanted to sit in the quieter area so our guest could hear us. Thehostess gave us an additude and we almost left.
