What a fabulous experience and place for families to enjoy. Love the groupon discounts. I wish they would contract with pogo... pass - hint hint:) the scenery is like being underwater - spectacular. So this is a tough one. We really wanted too like this place. We had been to a birthday party here and it was fine. Came for... dinner tonight - me, the wife, and 2 kids. First of all it took way too long to seat us, there were 4 people at thecheck-in/host booth - 1 on the phone and 3 standing there. Second, our waters were brought out and then we finally had to asksomeone to take our order. Here's where it gets tricky...the fried pickles were dang good, but then my wife reached the bottomof her Cesar salad and found a nice fat bug, gross! The kids' plates were fine and a good price. The prices overall were good.The worst part about it? My Cajun catfish plate was actually really good! So I don't know. We want to give it another shot butit'll probably take a while before my wife is willing to go back. Luckily the management was good and addressed the problem andpromptly comped my wife's salad. Love it here Only thing I didn't like was When paying ahead for bowling an you put tip at register. Found out didn't go to wait... staff that brought our food an drinks. Why would I tip the cashier to check me out? They're hourly I worked for tips 17 year'sbefore getting my master degree. It's needs to be stated. Our kids always enjoy their bowling and dinning experience, however during our last visit the service was lacking. They... assigned us a lane that was not cleaned up from the previous party, we waited patiently and expected an employee to come by andtake the dirty dishes and trash, yet no one came by. Had to go up to the cashier and request for a server to take our ordertwice until finally the cashier took our order. They also did not have everything on the menu available because the kitchen ranout of ingredients. We have been to multiple restaurants inside the Bass Pro shop across the states and always received qualityservice and unique entrees. Read more
