The quality of the food tonight wasn't outstanding, but the service we got from our waitress (and her colleagues) was. She was... friendly, professional, and very willing to offer suggestions with food/beverage matches. At the end of the meal, we decided toexplore the cagechezvous display, and a member of the service team came over and explained everything to us. Nice and Lively with the screens right when it opened at 4pm.
Some friends and I unexpectedly ended up in Val d'Or for two weeks on a business trip. We found many lovely places to eat in... town, but La Cage by far was our favorite. We ate here almost ten times, and everything we had on the menu was well prepared anddelicious. My favorite is the roasted salmon, but the brie & mushroom burger was another treat. The best thing about this placeis the service. Everyone who works here makes you feel welcome and valued as a guest. Any time I am in Val d'Or, I will maketime to watch a hockey game at La Cage.
