My wife I have been a patrons of this restaurant for years. We have always loved the food and service is great but since covid... the prices have through the roof for 2 people to dine on burger meals has increased and now on take out orders or pickups theycharge 8% gratuity (for what). Our regular check has increased $10 in the last year making these among the highest priced burgerjoints in the county. Good food but not worth the prices now charged. I am done with Burger Island. This is my favorite burger place. The burgers are so big I usually get a junior meal (for around $10-$11 depending on which type... of burger is ordered). The homestyle fries are great and their seasoning makes them extra delicious. I gave it five stars forevery category because it's a great local place that is unique, has hard working employees, and consistently serves deliciousfood. My family always enjoys it when we go. One of my favorite burger places. I get a junior cheeseburger off the kids menu because their burgers are too big for me! The... kids meal is the perfect size IMO. They have seasoned fries, curly, and onion rings. All great choices. They have many differenttypes of burgers here, but I?m an average burger gal. I also have tried their grilled cheese, shrimp, and nuggets which aregreat, greasy delights! You can get your order to go pretty fast too. Usually only takes 10-15 minutes if you order ahead byphone.
