Went to this winery recently and I absolutely loved it when I first walked in. It?s beautiful inside and has a great atmosphere.... Went to the bar area and was ignored by the bartender for a solid 15 minutes. She had a total of 4 people at the bar includingmyself and my sister. She wasn?t making drinks or pouring wine, she was cleaning. She cared more about cleaning an already cleanbar than servicing the customers. We let that go and were still happy when she finally turned her attention to us. When we didtalk to her and asked her just a few questions about the wine or food options, she couldn?t answer any questions and kept sayingshe didn?t know the answers and was visually annoyed that we even asked so my sister and I just stopped talking. She was veryunfriendly the whole time and her attitude killed our experience there. She was rude the moment she came over to us to themoment we paid and left. We were really kind to her in hopes that would change her demeanor but that didn?t work. Only thing Iknow about who she is is she had brown hair an a wrist tattoo with a k in it. Context, I?m a bartender and have been for years.I know the job pretty well and what is expected. How she conducted her service was outrageous in the eyes of a guest especiallyat a winery where you?re expecting the staff to be pleasant. We won?t be back. Read more
Lovely winery. Good wines, fabulous olive tapenade and cheese and charcuterie tray. Staff members were very nice.
Saw Mill River Winery on the way and we stopped by to check it out. Glad we did. Had some wine tasting experience all were so... good. Brought some bottles for our home. To experience the sip of wine beside the vineyard you need to book a reservation fortables. But the staffs are kind enough to let us stroll around the vineyard. And no worries for those who don?t havereservations, there are tables inside the winery for you to still enjoy the wine and more. We had my moms surprise 50th birthday party outside in the vineyard and it was lovely. Lauren, Jen, and Lizzie were... accommodating, flexible with our vision, and kind! We ordered food for the party from Henry's and it was delicious (chickenbroccoli penne and mushroom ravioli were amazing!). Read more
