Definitely one of the best Pizza King restaurants in the state. Highly recommend. Their stromboli, beef boat, Mexican pizza,... burrito supreme and baked spaghetti are my go-to meals when I'm there. You can't go wrong with any of them. Read more

Pizza King is almost inedible majorly overpriced pizza that has a special place in people's hearts just because it's an old... local chain largely in small towns. The only explanation for its popularity is its long connection with this community. My exwas born in Indiana and she had this intensely emotional childhood love for Pizza King and we went anytime we saw one. I wantedto love this local biz, Rushville Pizza King, but it really can only be good to a local who has personal connections to thisplace. The sauce tastes like it came out of a ketchup packet, cheese tastes like plastic and the crust like burned cardboard. Also the staff was very cold and unfriendly (and slow) - me and my buddy (who will eat almost anything) couldn't eat much of itand just smiled as the staff made us feel like the place was only for known locals - outsiders not welcome (though I live rightdown the road). If you read most of the reviews people say "best Pizza King around" (notice the King qualifier - not best pizzabut best Pizza King) well this is not saying much since (1) there are few Pizza Kings around anymore and (2) they were alwayssub par local Indiana pizza popular just because pizza places were rare in Indiana back in the 70s -80s. But they used to havethis Lionel train that would bring the drinks and smaller items to your table (and some had a buffet). Without any of thosethings Pizza King is no better than generic Kroger or Walmart brand frozen pizza, worse because it's way more expensive. Alsosince there is this irrational following at this place the owners have little reason to get better. But I think I've seen thatthis restaurant supports little league etc - If they do that then hats off to small local biz. I wanted to like it but I'vebeen to way better Pizza Kings - though not for a long time. Used to go to the one in Brazil, Indiana and most others aroundIndiana were okay. For good local Rushville pizza try Pizza Hut, Casey's (remarkably good) or even Read more

By far the best pizza king around! The service is excellent and the employees really seem to enjoy their job! So that can only... lead one to assume, that they are treated well and appreciated by their employer! The food is always served up hot anddelicious, if you do by chance find a problem they will not hesitate in making it right! The only pizza king that serves upsides with a sub! We drive from New Castle to come to Rushville to enjoy this pizza king as the ones that we have a new castledon?t even come close to the hospitality or quality of food that you will receive at this location! I would definitelyrecommend the cowboy pizza it is definitely a favorite of ours and it will not disappoint! Be prepared to take home plenty ofleftovers as this is a very large pizza heavy with toppings, lots of cheese, you have to see it to believe it. Read more
