Our favorite New Mexican restaurant! The freshness of the food here is underrated. We can?t have enough of the guacamole with... chips and salsa. The aguas frescas Pineapple and hibiscus flavor, tacos and quesabirria all very tasty and fresh. Overall, welove coming here from the quality of the food to the staff. This is a Mom and Pop eatery with okay food, a delicious hibiscus drink and AWESOME customer service. My husband and I called... in an order for pickup about an hour before closing and arrived on time for our quoted 45-50min pickup. Once there we ended upwaiting an additional 15min or so for the food. While we waited the young lady at the counter was courteous and apologetic. They were out of the requested guacamole so she offered a hibiscus drink that was to die for. The enchilada and burrito weordered was good but we've certainly had better. All in all I was satisfied. I went in and ordered a taco salad last night after work. I did carry out, I got home opened it up and tasted it so... disappointing. Soggy shell lettuce 1 tomatoes slice, alittle sprinkle of cheese and some flavorless chicken. I took 1 bite ofchicken and gave it to the dog. I ate the lettuce . Also a few beans on the bottom. I highly advise against giving them your business anymore. This is extremely unorthodox of me as I I've never told you not to... give someone local your business. We have eaten here three times now and in my previous review I had nothing but amazing thingsto say about the people and food. I completely retract all statements about the people. We attempted to dine in for the veryfirst time tonight and we walked in and it immediately felt off with the owner's daughter. She was very rude with us and ratherirritated that we were even in there. (We were the only guests in there) She was sitting at the table with what looked to befriends and family in the back and I think us coming in was the last thing she wanted. We began by ordering chips and salsa tosnack on and instead of going to get them she sat back down at the table with them and that's when I noticed playing cards andmoney scattered all over the table. After another five minutes or so she came back to take our order and the very first thingwe ordered she had an issue with stating "that's not how we like to prepare the tacos but I guess they can do it. (I've orderedthe tacos the same way every time, add cheese and sour cream, we've eaten here many times and have never heard this). I thenproceeded to place my 6-year-old's order the same way and that's when she rolled her eyes, up tossed her hands in the air andsaid "you guys are killing me." This was my final straw because the attitude was there from start to finish as she decided tobe disrespectful with my family during our order.
