We were recently in Ruston while traveling and tried Log Cabin Grill & Market. I was thrilled to find the Quail Dinner on the... menu and even more thrilled when I tasted it. My dad was a hunter and I grew up eating fried quail, but hadn't had any in years.These were mesquite grilled - tender and delicious - as were the grilled vegetables. I talked about this meal the entire trip!My husband had shrimp and they were excellent as well, as was the service. We'll definitely stop again the next time we're inthe area. Read more
Great food and great service! My 1 year old son was amazed by the deer mount over our table.
I ordered the ribs for dinner, they were cooked perfectly. Nice portion of meat and it was literally falling off the bone with... every bite. The service was great and the atmosphere is nice. Read more
Service was good. Chicken fried steak was okay. Don't care for the oven fried/baked potatoes. Cooked a bit too dark. Had a... really good salad, though. Very popular place, but prefer their sister facility Ponchatoulas. Read more

Nice locally owned restaurant with a loyal fan base. Near our hotel and a much better choice for a meal than a chain. Prices are... a little high for the quality. Large menu with something for everyone. Read more
