Nice restaurant. Enjoyed dinner with my family of 5. Had a dish for everyone to enjoy. My kids are all different and picky so I... enjoyed the variety of items on their menu. Next time I go, it will be during happy hour with the wife. Read more

We have been going to the Frankie's on Jupiter, which is fine, but my wife and I tried this location for lunch, and I liked it... enough to bring my kids for dinner the next day. I think we've changed our Frankie's for future visits! The food is perfectlyfine - two caveats: I only saw tamales on their lunch menu, and they're really good: and I tend to order Tex-Mex, but they haveMexican-style fish dishes, and also have several fusion dishes like Mexican Lasagna and Frankie's Fried Rice. If you findsomething you don't like, order something else the next time - it may be VERY different! The service was first class - wevisited at the end of a lunch rush hour and at the height of Friday dinner. Everyone worked hard, and everyone worked together -we were sitting across from a party of about 20, so we got to see them under pressure. If you think Abuelos is your kind ofatmosphere, this place may not be for you. It's clean, and less dark and gloomy than their Jupiter location, but this is whatnon-chain Mexican food places in Dallas have looked like for at least half a century. Whether you order authentic food or not,you get the authentic experience! We'll be back. ????????? Read more

Wow. Ordered the fajitas beef which is $20 and $16 for the chicken fajitas and I am in disbelief at the portion? they put maybe... 7 strip of meat on a huge bed of onions? like how is this suppose to be a meal for two individuals??! This is a meal for one!!!And it?s extremely watery!!!!! Like why is there so much water in the container?? The churros on the other hand were thehighlight! Edit: just finished eating the pieces of wet meat that were thrown on to a bed of wet onions and it was the worstfajitas I have ever had! Def going to stick to rosas cafe! Like the serving sucks it?s super soggy and wet and it doesn?t haveany flavor whatsoever ever like did they use any fajita seasoning! I don?t know if something was up today because it was myfirst time ordering their fajitas but truly never again!!!! Read more

Called in order for pickup. Website says "Curbside Pickup" I called when I got there and after several rings, a young lady... picked up but spoke very broken English. I told her I was picking up an order. She could not understand me. I heard her asksomeone else and they said you have to come inside. I had.my dog with me! They do have a take out window but no one was manningit. Finally went inside (having to carry dog) and was ignored by the 2 men at the maitre de stand. They were too busy arguingwith each other. Then the door to the take out room opened and girl walks out! Then had to go back and get my order. I nunderstand places being short staffed but they seemed to have plenty of help Got food home and it was terrible! FajitaQuesadillas had barely any meat on it. Definitely NOT Fajitas. Small little chunks of meat mainly just in the middle. No onions, peppers or anything. Basically a cheese quesadilla. What little meat there was had no seasoning at all. Street corn was justok....alot of the roasted corn was burnt..... Waste of my time and more importantly, my money!! Read more
