What a place ..amazing seafood and service Haylee took care of us and it was the cleanest clam bake and lobster I ever had. The... slaw, kids food very good ..family business from generations of hard work and consistent cooking...You can't miss eating heremake sure you get there on time because it is busy.. Read more
Food was sub par, not the best I've ever had in Maine especially for the high prices . I waited an 1 hr 1/2 on foot outside for... takeout. I asked the one person working the window if I could place a togo order and come back instead of waiting with customerswho wanted to dine in and he said no, I thought that was very strange. Once I ordered I waited and additional 40 mins plus forthe food. Several servers were very kind and chatted with me in between their busy Saturday night work since I had been sittingthere for so long. The bartender kept giving me strange almost dirty looks, then he yelled and screamed at a young man in frontof me also slamming things in his midst. I couldn't believe it!!!. I couldn't wait to get to my car. Someone needs to look intothis, it can't continue to happen. Also, I had to check my togo order because none of the sauces, butters plastic forks orknives where there. I'm a tourist in a hotel of course I need these things, they should know that based off the Togo status andtime of year. Lastly 10 minutes before my bag was released a young man told me there was no more rice. So I didn't get the sidesI wanted, but guess who did the dine in customers who came in after me who already had their meals, they had already been eatingfor some time by the time I got to leave.
