Terrific food and service. There are two entrances. One for dine in, the other for take out; both labeled. If you want to sit... outside stand in the take-out line. I grew up in this place and they always have amazing customer service, kind workers, clean place and they have little arcade... games as well. My boyfriend won a bunny in the arcade and my brother won a toy as well. They have delicious sandwiches, fries,and ice cream. They have a lot of other options as well, but I haven't personally tried them yet. They have an amazing chocolatesyrup that you can buy separately in a jar. I'd recommend this place to anyone who'd want ice cream, sandwiches, and somefries. It's a great place for parties, hangouts, even just for yourself. Read more
Dope ice cream!! I will come back in a heartbeat. The ice cream was so good. I ordered raspberry sorbet and it was the perfect... amount of tart and sweet. The chocolate was also very true to taste. They have tons of flavors, service is very fast, and thedecor around the place was wonderful!! There is a mini arcade in the back. There are TONS of seats so I feel like this is agreat place and atmosphere to kick back and catch up with your loved ones. In fact, I'm pretty sure I saw tons of young friendgroups here. There is also the ice cream factory making part that is visible through a glass window on the right side of thebuilding). The only thing that didn't make sense was when I ordered the ice cream, it got passed to someone else and then wehad to wait a few more minutes, but whatever. I got my ice cream eventually. They also didn't ask if I wanted my order for hereor to go. I had such a great time here. I think it's better than the other small ice cream places around Sacramento but Ihaven't tried them all yet. This is in the top 5 ice creams I have ever had. Honestly probably top 3 and they have the old theme, really friendly and good... service too. The waiter was hilarious and made great recommendations for what to get. The portions are huge here so 3 of us allshared one thing. This is the type of place where the food is so good that you go outside to ralph to come back in and have somemore. If this place was in a big city they would probably have lines out the door and hour waits. We were fortunate to walk inand get seated quickly. Has a cool old feel inside, comfortable seating too. I hope the owner is filthy rich and never closesthis place down. Definitely coming back before I day just because I want to be able to feel greatness one more time before Ipass. Read more

Always good times here at Leatherby?s, great memories are always created here. I haven?t been here in awhile and I can say they... never disappoint. Today, I only had a root beer float and a side of fries. The fries were delicious, crispy and seasoned justright. The root beer float was gigantic! Our server was very helpful and friendly.
