My partner and I enjoyed the food. We both tried different salads and got half and half pizzas. They were willing to accommodate... additions and removal of toppings. The salads were fresh and perfectly dressed. And the pizzas were good. The Tova was ourabsolute favorite. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because there was a hair in my pizza and I separated the slice itwas on and ate the rest. I was understanding as mistakes happen?but they did not, however, prorate the cost of the slice Ididn?t eat nor did they offer a discount for the error. They did apologize, but for the cost of our meal and me not being ableto finish fully it would?ve been appreciated if they took a small percentage off to compensate. They didn?t offer to giveanother slice or something else to make up for it either. I would be willing to go back, but the way they handled the hairsituation rubbed me the wrong way. Read more
We celebrated a birthday party in Masullo's private room. The food was delicious - appetizers, salad, pizza and the ice cream... sandwiches for dessert. The service was excellent. Our guests had a fabulous time. We highly recommend Masullo Pizza! Read more
This is an Italian approved place for us, thus we have been here several times. The place was remodeled and there is 50% more... space than 4 years ago. The food is always of high quality. We had the anchovies pizza and it was spectacular. We also had thepenne pasta with chorizo in red sauce. Very tasty! The service was exceptional and the ambience with the new space was good.Parking is an issue in this place as there is only 2 regular parkings in front of the restaurant. Location is not the best butthe place is worth visiting this we keep coming back. Read more

First of all, the space echos way too much with zero consideration of interior design. The night we went, there were kids... running around to the kitchen and behind the counters, not sure why the staff didn?t say anything. Despite the restaurant notbeing busy, it still took a considerable amount of time to even get water and asked what we wanted to eat. The rosemary breadwas basically just pizza bread and overpriced with oil. The pizzas were below average, we had the American which was way toogreasy (oil was dripping down), droopy, and not that flavorful. We also had the Zoe, and there was barely any cheese andguanciale, making it also overpriced. Very disappointed as we?ve been finding good, new places in Sacramento. TL;DR: badservice, food, and vibe, and overpriced. Sadly, we won?t be returning. Read more
