I came by today and ordered 2 poke bowls. I thought everything looked good until I got home(5 minutes away). As soon as I tried... my bowl I knew the sushi was not fresh. It was dry and tasted like it had been left out overnight. The 2nd bowl was for my gfand she said the same exact thing. We had to throw these out immediately. I seen the guy who helped me out drop a piece ofavocado on a signed receipt then pick it up and put it back in the window. I should've knew right then and there that this placeisn't following food standards. I talked to this place about the situation and there only response was that they had a employeetry the sushi and nothing was wrong. They offered 20% off to come back but I had to bring the bowls back that I threw awayalready. Who in there right mind would come back to a place that gave them stale food? I guess with this place the customersopinion doesn't matter and they don't care that they could possibly be making people sick. Look at the color. I never seensushi that dark before. Read more
Awesome poke bowls! Medium size (4 proteins) should be a good size for most people. The spicy garlic tuna was great.
Favorite poke place in Sac. I'm never disappointed coming here. The flavors are excellent, the fish tastes fresh, the choices... are many, and the scoops are abundant. I do not feel I get cheated by the portions - the poke bowl size is just right. The staffis always very friendly and happy to suggest their favorite flavor combinations if asked. The only minor gripe is, likeeverywhere else, they raised their prices. But that won't stop me from coming here because the food tastes too good!! Read more
We were so excited to find this excellent hidden spot in Sacramento! There are many choices of dishes, salads, or sushi rolls to... order from here. The menu is large, and the layout is easy to understand and to order from. The menu is clearly labeled cooked -not raw section for those that prefer cooked food and a raw - uncooked section of the menu for those that enjoy raw seafood. I LOVE their poke burritos! Perfect ratio of insides and rice (I don't like a lot of rice). They take their time with every... order, so if you're in a rush and can't wait, order ahead of time and pick up. My favorite poke burrito is The Works, but reallythey are all delicious. I also love that they offer zucchini noodles as a base for their poke bowls. I highly recommend PokeFix, anything you try will be delicious and you won't regret it. :) Read more
