A very nice selection of deserts in an old fashion diner atmosphere. I had a slice of the Fudge Fantasy Cake, which is chocolate... cake with raspberry preserves with butter cream frosting. My daughters had a chocolate cheesecake with a chocolate ganache andstrawberries on it. Both were delicious. The staff was friendly. Read more

I?ve been going to Rick?s for years starting back when they were at their tiny place on K Street and they never disappoint! It... could take you forever to taste every single dessert and that would be actually be really fun however even with all thosechoices, my favorite is Rick?s Best Yellow Cake. I know, I know?there?s all kinds of other amazing combinations yet this onecalls to me every time. It?s a simple yellow cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. It?s even better when you take it homeand let it sit at room temperature for about an hour or so, everything just melts in your mouth. That?s actually a goodstrategy for any of the cake desserts so if you can wait till you get home, you?ll have a different dessert experience. Wide range of desserts that rotate often. I?ve tried the Almond Kahlua Gateau as well as the Apricot Almond Gateau. These cake... slices are an overly generous serving, share with friends or take some home, there is no way you will finish on your own! Myfriends had the creme brûlée, cream puff, and tiramisu. Great cakes! First time visiting this diner and it's such a cozy spot to hang out and enjoy a delicious cake. There are many... cake options to choose from as well as pies, cookies, cream puffs, drinks, ice cream, and more. We ordered the German chocolatecake and a tiramisu. Fantastically sweet and delicate.
