It was OK. Sad to see that our our Italo- Americani heritage is fading. The Norrh Beach of SF is surely gone. No real... authentic itian restaurants left. However, everything is tasty here. Was disappointed that the arancini was risotto ballmicrowaved. And the cannoli served frozen! Not a dine in restaurant but more of a tavolo caldo, takeout. If you take a dinnerhome you can serve hot from your oven and room temp cannoli. The flavors are good but you have to eat out of containers! I'llbe back to try more but take home. The food is good but best as take out. If your from the Bay Area, best to go to CortiBrothers for take out. But even they are losing their grip on being an Italian grocer. I think our economy is so out of wackthat businesses have to compromise on quality and our waning service ethic. Read more
What a hidden gem!!! Everything is good, especially the chicken parmesan sandwich!!! Service is fast and friendly!
They've been in business for 14 years, but I just discovered them today. I must have seen the storefront a million times going... by on my to something near Arden, but never stopped in. It took a tip from the guy at Midas to get me in, but I'll be back toSampino's, an awesone old school Italian deli and restaurant on 16th Street. Had a delicious albacore tuna sandwich. Read more
