What the heck?! That?s what we were thinking. I?ve lived in the greater Sac area for most of my life. When my wife told me,... this was our first stop in looking at our wedding venue options, I just about stopped her at Arden and Del Paso. Other than arandom stop at a venue in Elk Grove, The Atrium at Woodlake was our first scheduled stop in a long list of venue options. UsingGoogle Maps, we drove around the block a couple times. Finally, we pulled over and reviewed some of the online pictures. Weparked in one of the timed slots and grumbled as we got out of the car. Really? This is the place? While walking to the door, weagreed to be polite and keep our appointment. We figured we would go in, nod politely and then be on our way? Then Evan showedup. He greeted us with a big smile and welcome in his eyes. He didn?t see us as financial opportunities. No. He saw us aspeople. People who were looking for the best wedding experience. So he did his thing. He showed us around. Showed us all theareas. Asked question about what we would need? Things we hadn?t thought of. Giving us options on just about everything. The onething he couldn?t change was the Art Deco interior design. (Which was exactly what my wife wanted.) But he offered us to comeand decorate as we pleased. Once we walked in, it felt like the right move. Evan and his staff took to us like family themoment we met them. No one tried upselling us, nor did they belittle our ideas. The facility is AMAZING!!!! There are two skylights! The sun was a bit too hot for us to have them both open. We set up the arch in front of the indoor waterfall and had ourreception in the patio space next to it. Our DJ (family friend) was given all the space she needed to set up her booth and keepus on track. The indoor food staging/serving area was exceptionally clean and spacious. We had our baby shower at the beautiful Atrium and it was just perfect. Couldn?t have asked for more. From the beautiful event... space, the lights, the greenery, the venue is everything you need to create your beautiful event. But that wasn?t the only plus.The staff was absolutely amazing. Evan was with us from the starting point up until the day of the event all through out makingsure our day was perfect and we were well taken care of. He def went above and beyond and we really appreciate that.
