My granddaughter loves this cafe and wanted to share her taste and experience with the family for her HS graduation. The cafe is... actually a renovated home in Mid Town. It has a Berkeley vibe and sits on the second floor of the bldg. I have to say, theatmosphere was very casual with typical cafe type seating and even a couple couches to lounge on. Mind you none of us are Veganexcept for my granddaughter. The food was surprisingly good. We ordered the Spring Bruschetta, Guac Burger, The Works, Curry,Spring Crepe, Chicken nuggets, and three of the desserts. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I really enjoyed the SpringBuschetta.The menu changes frequently so your favorite dish might not be there the next time. They were able to accommodate ourparty of 8 and we weren't cramped which was also a plus for me. The service was excellent. The entrance is cool and the dine-in area is also great, and the ambiance has warmth but the main reason for the visit was the... food which is not very delighted, the food was also in between good/ okay, which was by the way served on our table after onehour when my husband went for quarry. We ordered a couple of dishes but the best was curry & rice and my son likes fries. Wemoved from New York a couple of years ago and we are big foodies we love to have good & healthy food and also we are vegetarians(me & my 11 year old son) and my husband is vegan we always try various types of vegetarian/ vegan food and explore restaurants.Sacramento downtown has other options too which are also pretty good. But for this place, I have only 3 stars. This is mypersonal experience. Every very person has their own choices and preferences/ tastes and opinions, So this is my take. Read more
