This was my first time at a sugar shack and I liked the experience. The staff was friendly and the food was like homemade. We... ate broad bean soup, egg omelet, sausage, sweet beans and meatloaf. Amazing place for a wedding. The rooms are huge and from what I ve been told they go above and beyond to make you day truly... special......but I ain t here to talk about that. I am here talk food and beer. During Covid they have been operating a Foodtruck outside the venue with burgers and pulled pork sandwiches and amazing poutine ....seriously it s comfort food but donereally really well. They have a brewery also and the Scotch Ale they have is brewed with Maple Syrup and I would put it againstany Scotch Ale out there. Superb. They also brew a red ale and a IPA. Both are great but the Scotch Ale is a miracle. Worth thetrip for the food and the beer. Go there nice road trip. Read more
