We had a very good meal, Pizza Royal, fish and chips, burger. All were tasty and well supported by good French fries (except the... pizza) The service was friendly and efficient. We also had a nice view on the river and opposite shore. This is a place we wouldcome back to. Read more

This spot was the only place open for lunch on the island during the season we went. We stopped at three other spots that were... closed for the season even though Google reported them being open. For what it was, it is a solid choice for pub-like food. Mywife got the house special poutine which didn't really work in terms of toppings and I got the chicken fingers which I haven'thad since I was in grade school but it was made perfectly. I learned recently the difference between tenders and fingers andthis was made correctly based on that difference. Finger meat for chicken, was soft and juicy and breaded very well. There isnothing too special with the food selection, variety is decent and despite being heavily understaffed, they took care of everypatron very well. The fries were quite good, but not seasoned (but they could just be catering to preferences). It is worth itto stop by and try other selections. Read more
