The food was good. Service great. It is especially nice for my husband with many diatary restrictions. I find the Egyptian food... very mild in use of spices. I wish some dishes had more. Read more

Lovely ambiance, falafels were awesome, kofta beef grilled inside a pita was great, the moussaka was superb, and the three-kebab... plate-chicken, tandoori chicken, and kofta beef,, great! TBH the tabbouleh salad could have used a little more vinegar orlemon juice, I was not sure quite what was missing as different places have their own variant. Read more

A commendable Middle Eastern fine dining experience. Salad was fresh, with the strong herb infused olive oil a plus. Chicken... shawarma was moist and flavorful, as is the rice. Service was amiable. Overall a neat establishment worthy of a visit. Read more

My family and I went to enjoy a nice dinner out and it wasn't what we expected. To begin with the staff were great, the interior... design, the atmosphere was beautiful. The food on the other hand was not great. For appetizers, we order hummus($7) which was okat most, it wasn't smooth and the oil they used wasn't good with it. The Arayas($13) were good. The mains we got were mixedkebab ($32), shrimp kebab ($24), rack of lamb ($32). Each main came with a choice of fries, salad, and rice. We get the tabouleh, Egyptian salad, fattoush salad, fries and the rice. The mixed kebab came with 2 skewers of tandoori chicken, 2 skewers ofchicken and 2 beef Kofta; they were all VERY VERY DRY, the portoin of the meat was underwhelming and they tasted store boughtunfortunately. The shrimp kebab was also dry and just boring, no wow to it. The rack of lamb on the other hand was actually goodbut, the bone was WAY LARGER than the meat was. All salads tasted a week old and not fresh, the cuts for the lettuce, cucumber, carrot were very inconsistent fries and rice were OK. Overall, the food was expensive, not fresh (possibly store bought ready, hopefully not), and worst of all very dry. Read more

Unfortunately the food was cold.. bland.. and just tasteless. It is very expensive for the quality but not quantity. If you?re... super hungry and your tastebuds are just craving anything, go ahead and get the mixed kebobs. They literally were blocks, I wasvery disappointed especially that I was craving something ?middle eastern?. It may have been a bad day or a change in chefs. Mynotes on the food: Hummus needs some lemon to be perfect, consistency is a bit off. None of the plates come with garlic, mayoinstead which was shocking. The pita is okay. The rice is okay (2/5). The actual meat (tandoori, shish tawook, kebab, kafta) wasall pretty bad.. tasted re-heated. The shrimp was not as bad, but was cold????????. I was upset to recommend this place to myfamily for a special celebration and we ended up going to grab food elsewhere after paying over 300$. Service is good; one noteis maybe when servers are on other tables to not announce or speak so loudly the whole restaurant could hear whether someonewanted ice or not haha, but no big deal on that end. I came to eat delicious food and was left hungry. I have to give the ownersa thumbs up for the decor from their uptown location though! Read more
