It was a quiet and peaceful time we had visiting with you and John. Glad you caught that baby alligator John! (We are in... Florida). We have been telling everyone we meet about Sweet Magnolia Inn. The screened porch reminded us of our childhood days(no worries, no concerns, just fresh air and the sound of the wind blowing thru a neighbor? wind chime. We spend time watching and naming the sounds of the birds, squirrels, frogs, crickets. The massage chair were a plus! our favorite place torelax and get away is what Sweet Magnolia Inn did for us. BEWARE! The Inn is very nice and is as advertised. Our experience is probably unique. My wife had a LOOP heart monitor... implanted with a remote reporting device the week prior to our reservation. This was going to be a relaxing getaway after atough week...in fact a tough pandemic. When we arrived we looked at the property and it was just as advertised. Then we triedto connect the monitor which needs a cell phone connection. None, so we tried to call the hosts. No signal on our phones. Wethen found that Saint Marks has no cell tower and no land line...all use WIFI calling. If you need cell service, Saint Marks isnot a place to go. We left. and found a motel with WIFI in a cell service area. We did not ask for a refund since we wereaware of their cancellation policy. However, there is no mention of this limitation in their web site...for us a seriousomission. As we said at the start, BEWARE!. Read more
