There are beautiful, panoramic views of the harbor when dining on the second floor here. I was so pleased to find a Gluten-free... crab cake! The overall experience was pleasant with a really clean and chic atmosphere inside. We had a lot of fun watching theboats and water taxis in the harbor. Lots of seating as well as a deck. We could have done without the lady (who was not aserver) coming up to our table during the meal but some people like random, well-meaning conversation. Home cooking at its best!! My first time here?for the Thanksgiving buffet, and it was outstanding. Nothing crazy fancy or... ?try-hard?, just their family recipe everything! The selections were hot and freshly refilled. The staff is super friendly andon top of it. Everyone on the team in the different rooms asked if I needed anything as I made my way around. This is is hugeplus in my book: I can?t say either way if HHL is dog-friendly all the time, but there was a couple visiting from out of townand had sat outside with their very well-behaved dogs. The sun disappeared and it got cold ???? HHL accommodated them at atable just inside the bar door after the doggo owners and staff asked everyone if we were ok with it.
