I absolutely hate giving bad reviews but this place was terrible. We wanted sushi so bad while on vacation and visiting St.... Simons Island and this place had great reviews and high star rating, I have no idea why. To start we were immediately served hotbroth and a deep fried crab stick with sauce, that gesture is super nice however we are ones that don't eat these things anddislike wasting anything, wish they would have just asked and we would have declined them so as not to waste. We tried the friedcrab stick, I mean it was already placed on our table, not good. We ordered 4 sushi rolls, there was only one that was ediblenot great or good just edible, the second roll we each ate 2 pieces just trying to like it and it was just terrible. Then camethe last two rolls, just a basic spicy tuna roll and another with spicy tuna and seared tuna on top. My husband and I ate onepiece of each roll and immediately stopped eating everything. I don't know if it was a seasoning used in the mix, bad mixture orwhat but nothing about them tasted good or normal. We did have the fried Gyoza and that was good, no complaints about those atall. The positive about this whole experience was our server, she was so sweet and kind. She did take two of the rolls off ourbill and we did appreciate that. Read more
My mother and I went there to get food to eat at the hotel for dinner, and it was the best sushi place ever! I definitely... recommend you to go there. They were so helpful and helped me to choose the best options. We are very grateful, and when we comeback, it will be the only sushi place we will go to! Read more
It was very unprofessional service. Tonight when I walked in they told me that time was limited due to them being closed at... 11:00.pm We came in around 10:30pm . They sat us down and we felt rushed immediately when we got to the table. they brought usour food. They started with the appetizers first and brought both our meals shortly after . We ordered drinks first but thedrinks didn't arrive until 20 minutes later. This is the worst place that I've ever been to in my life and this is the firsttime that I'm coming here and I'm never coming back . When we received the check ours cards were charged twice due to an errorbecause the cashier got the wrong receipt. Then they tried to downplay it and make us feel that we were the problem when theywere the ones who made the mistake. I'm very disappointed and I feel highly disrespected after this incident. I came here for lunch today for the first time. I was seated immediately and my server came to the table in about two minutes. I... ordered spicy tobiko (flying fish roe) and salmon sashimi. She came back almost immediately with a fried crab/cream cheeseappetizer with spicy sauce and miso soup. They were both delicious. My sashimi was made quickly and tasted great. The spicysauce on the tobiko was really good. The little cucumber cups that were made to serve the tobiko were so cute. My server wassuper sweet. I am from out of town or I would come here often.
