Great little seafood place. Had about a half hour wait to get in, but it was worth it. Our meals were delicious and... deceivingly large. Loved the grits and grit cakes. All of the seafood was fresh and tasty. Service was excellent as well. Read more
This was the best meal we had on our entire trip, and that's saying something!!! The food is phenomenal, atmosphere and service... is terrific!! The coconut shrimp (that dipping sauce!!!!), the Mahi Mahi and the shrimp and grits.......I cannot say enoughgreat things about all of it!!! The after dinner ice cream bar is a huge plus!!! And it's just a short walk to the pier andlighthouse. Very centrally located to everything. We will be visiting here on every trip to Jekyll Island!! Read more
When we got there, the place was packed, but we were able to get seated, being a party of two. The atmosphere was great, the... service was exceptional, Lilli is a great server. Our appetizer was the shrimp platter and it was awesome. We had time to eat itbefore our entrees arrived, I hate getting my entree right on top of my appetizer, as I said before, "Lilli is great". For theentree, I had the pick three combo with Blackened Flounder, fried oysters, and clam strips. I have a fairly hardy appetite, andcouldn't finish all of it. My fiancee had the pick two combo, with Fried Flounder and a perfectly cooked med-rare sirloin steak.We never got low on our beverages, as busy as she was, Lilli was on top of it. She also recommended the complimentary ice cream,but we were stuffed. I would definitely go back, and recommend it if you are ever on Saint Simons Island. Read more
This is one of our favorite stops when in the area. We got there at opening to beat the Memorial day crowds.The kids love the... free ice cream station & the food is always fresh and cooked perfectly. The server (Hunter Y) was very attentive withoutrushing us. The drinks were strong (no one wants to pay for a weak drink) :) I never order cheese sticks when we go anywherebecause they?re always frozen but these ones tasted homemade. overall great experience!!
