I stopped in to Sammies because I heard a long time friend from school days had opened this great little sandwich shop. Oh boy... did these Sammies hit the spot. They were perfect. Simply perfect. You will find the owners friendly and so welcoming. A verylaid back and reasonable spot to get a quick meal on the go. It's not your usual resort island overpriced place. It's on the go,ready to go, simplicity with a welcoming atmosphere. If you haven't tried Sammies, make your way to this hidden treasure andhave a Sammie. You will be addicted. I was very happy to find a place to grab a quick bite to eat that wasn?t another burger and fries joint. Having a light turkey... sandwich was refreshing to have on a hot day. The homemade Kaiser roll my sandwich came on was springy and delicious. You candefinitely tell the difference when it comes to fresh baked. The sandwich had a perfect balance of condiments and fixins. All inall a great place to have a lunch. Read more
Fantastic at what they do - offer simple old-fashioned sandwiches for lunch. Nothing fancy - sandwiches are $6 and are basic... loaf bread type offerings, but everything is fresh and the bread is homemade. Great pimento cheese! We love this spot Read more
