A charming, quiet little Italian restaurant tucked into the heart of downtown Valleyfield. Cozy and intimate on the inside,... relaxing and open on the terrace. Food is excellent!! Fresh and with quality ingredients. Pasta and pizza that do notdisappoint. And wonderful desserts and coffees. Amazing staff(and owners!!) who care for you and alway take the time to sayhi. The drinks were very good. I had 2 ????. They brought assorted breads to the table- they were nice. We ordered 2 antipasto platters for our table. Most items were great. The meat left a little to be desired. Iwish there was more cheese but I would order it again. The vegetarians in the group had plenty of choices and they finished allof their food. A few people had pizzas; it was a thin as a crust cracker but they were also happy. The 2 people who had theSpaghetti Carbonara loved it. I even tasted and liked it better than my spaghetti bolognese. I felt there were too manyunnecessary spices added to the sauce, which tainted everything for me. For me, Italian sauce is tomatoes, olive oil and a bayleaf?not much else. That's the way I like it. I had 2 bites of my meal and was done. It's just a preference though, not a strikeagainst food or service for sure. No one had room for dessert, but the creme brulee looked very good. Will stay there again nexttime we are in the area for sure.
