We stopped here because traffic was bad and I'm so glad we did! They were packed and I see why. The food is amazing, fresh and... made to order to perfection! This is the second time we came here for breakfast. The first time was amazing and pleasant. Today not so much. The service is... terrible. There's not a pleasant person at the counter, no one explains the seating process or how to place your order. There'sdefinitely not enough staff for Saturday morning breakfast service. Our server was rude, unpleasant, and totally inattentive tothe customers. Service is slow, they need to hire a bus person, and the only one who is trying to keep things going is the guywho is covering everything and everywhere. It takes forever for your food to come out from the kitchen and the servers don'teven come around to refill your coffee. The place is completely unorganized. The food is nothing to write home about. It took40 minutes for a basic All American Breakfast plate to come out of the kitchen. I didn't even eat my food. The hash browns werein the form of a square patty that was over cooked on one side and under cooked on the other. The eggs were cold and tasted likethey came out of a carton. Awesome breakfast. We were visiting Salado and wanted to try this place. It's worth the wait. They were under staffed like... everyone is so it took time to get the food. But the food was so good. I would drive from Austin on a weekend just forbreakfast. Read more
