This restaurant was suggested to my husband and we stop there for Sunday brunch. The inside seating was full but we preferred... outdoor. It was a nice day out. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my husband tried the ladder which was French toast layeredwith fried chicken tenders. Food was great, really good portion size for the ladder. I think the shrimp & grits portion was abit lacking. We also tried the bin-yays (Beignets) and some mimosa. Really good flavor. We will definitely be back to try otheritems in the menu. Read more
Not impressed by this place. Atmosphere I'd say it's a 5, seat yourself and order upfront. They were out of there signatures... meal items blackened alligator. We had the fried chicken sliders, they were ok. Limp, wilted Cole slaw. Chicken tastes prettydecent but very thin slices, then we had fried pickles, very overly salty, almost inedible. Black coffee was so bitter anddark, five creamers couldn't help this cup of Joe. The food is delicious and fresh (large portions). Their drinks are also very flavorful they have about 6 different flavors in... slush-style alcoholic beverages, which are perfect for the hot weather during the summer. This review is just for the beignets... Holly cow I have found an actual authentic, good beignet!!!! Thank you, thank you for... being the salvation in the west for my southern self. My soul is truly happy today! Fluffy and crispy, hot and sweet andperfectly cooked.
