Excellent with Excellent service. We had the ribs, brisket beans, Brussel Spouts, pulled pork. Ribs done right without being... dried out. The BBQ sauce had flavor with a hint of spice and sweetness. Oh and the free chips and salsa also excellent. This isan update. Stop on the way back from our trip. Had the smoked burger which is multiple smoked meats cheeseburger. Nice to geta burger that can be made medium rare. It has its own special sauce but I had to add some of their BBQ which also works on thechips. As a side I had their coleslaw. Very light and would be perfect for adding to a sandwich. Got a quart of their BBQsauce to go. Can't wait for them to bottle it so I can have it shipped. Forgot to mention this is two places in one. El Jefeand West Salem BBQ. You can park in the back if you don't want to park on the main street. Read more

On my long journey across all the states of the USA, I wanted to end this week with a delicious meat dinner and didn?t for a... second regret choosing this restaurant in a city I didn?t even plan to be in today. The meat is great, the Brussels sprouts areunique, the coleslaw is the freshest and the cornbread finishes this fireworks of taste. The most important value anddecoration of this restaurant is service. I lost the habit of good service in Florida, today I remembered how it is to be aGUEST and not a client in a restaurant.
