Very friendly and nice staff. Saturday night, we ordered online for pick up. Only 1 other diner in the place, and we were the... only online pick up. One of our sides, onion rings, wasn't in the tied bag with the other 4 items. Didn't know until we got homeand started serving. A slow night, I feel, shouldn't have had any missing parts of the order. Maybe don't tie the bag so peoplecan check their order before they leave. Please consider this so that people with food restrictions or allergies, or pickyeaters, can peacefully check their order without having to make the decision of ripping into it and taking your time and spaceto do so. The jerk chicken and pork and curry chicken all looked amazing in the pictures. We even ordered large sizes forleftovers. Over half of each of the dishes is rice. 2 drums for the large jerk chicken.. is the size choices meant for the riceand steamed cabbage? Wasn't described either way on the menu. Tasted alright, not what we were expecting with the reviews, though. Especially with the prices, although I don't know how much the rent is for their location. But it is a lot of rice forthe price. Kansas is slowly accumulating a set of excellent Jamaican restaurants. One in Leavenworth, one in Junction city, and now this... place? Perhaps of the three, this was the best flavor. I arrived late, so several of their menu items had run out, but theoxtail was off the chains, mind blowing? Somewhere between excellent and perfect. It was served with a generous portion of riceand cabbage, and had a flavor that was nothing short of fascinating. I usually use my trips as a way of trying many differentrestaurants, but I suspect that I will be back here tomorrow night! Read more

This is such a great surprise in Kansas. I?m just passing through and was not expecting to find a Jamaican restaurant near my... hotel. Stop in and try it - it?s delicious and super friendly! For anyone who hasn?t traveled/lived internationally, culturallydiverse experiences like this are what makes America awesome. Pork tacos are legit! Read more

If a restaurant wants to command over $20.00 a plate for lunch. I expect table service and actual plates. To-Go-Boxes just don't... cut it. Just because the establishment is located on Santa Fe in downtown Salina does not mean it can skimp on high qualityservice. There was an over abundance of bones in my meal. As we were the only customers, I imagine the chef could have taken thetime to remove these before serving me my $20.00 ++ meal in a styrophome box. I must say the plaintains were delicious!
