I Recommend this place! I love going to this place! Its been almost my whole life of enjoying La Fogatas authentic Mexican food.... My favorite items are the sopes and burritos! I think its been open around 40 yrs now and you can tell when you go inside (Theowner keeps it real) vintage feel but its nice. I feel bad after reading the comments some ppl left about it... I know the foodis always fresh and yes the bathroom occasionally has no soap but thats because ppl have stole the bottles The owner has caught2 thief's of soap just while I was in there dining. So please give La Fogata a try, burritos are always good and the sopes plustheir Salsa goes good on everything! Read more
4 adults went to enjoy a nice dinner after watching a movie. We were welcomed by the waitress/cashier/cook. Coffee was cold, no... frijoles de la olla, my carne asada had a LOT of fat, Chile relleno dry. Waitress came to our table twice to see how we weredoing. Not a good experience overall. We all said we wouldn?t go back nor recommend it. Read more
It was great. Service was great, And the food was delicious. Very taste full. Especially coming from a Japanese man who owns the... place. And prices where very reasonable, dinner for two was under $30/ tip. I would recommend this Mexican restaurant to anyonewho likes Mexican food, especially if they like going to old town salinas.
