2 stars for quick service. First time here, as I walked the guy came from the register straight to the Tequeria side and I did... not notice the guy wash his hands, I later on went outside to eat went to ask him for lime again he went from the register tothe other side again, he cut up the lime & again he did not wash his hands I throw them out. Recently tried this place. Good selection of beer, liquor & wines along with the typical convenience store items like snacks:... Ice cream, candy, cookies, chips & non edible sundries. Also ordered the Mexican take out food. It was decent quality for theprice; nice assortment of tacos, burritos, enchiladas & tortas in your choice of meat (berf, pork, chicken) including birria(goat) either w/ or w/out arroyo (rice) & frijoles either hoya or fritos (beans, whole or refried.) Flavor was good, beans alittle bland but the salsa was good. Thought the prices were in line as would be expected when you are in Toro area or nearsouth Salinas & at a bodega. We have returned twice to order different items. My spouse liked the carne asada & I enjoyed thechile verde. We have both had the pollo. My burrito was filling; enchiladas tasty either verde or rojo; tacos good. The senorabehind the food counter is quick to prepare the food & fill the containers. Other customers came & went while we were in thestore section which has another jovencita to cashier & run the retail side. She was very pleasant & stayed busy keepingeverything well stocked & cleaned. All in all a good experience. Read more
